It is based on the principle of being environmentally sensitive, respectful to human and nature in order to ensure the health and safety of our employees, customers, partners and our rights. Improving the Occupational Health and Safety performance in the area where Bakan Metal operates is our first priority and prerequisite.
In this direction;
* That our managers and employees are obliged to do what is necessary within their authority and limits in order to carry out our activities as required by occupational health and safety and environmental laws and standards in order to provide a safe and healthy working environment,
* In order to ensure the health and safety of employees, suppliers and visitors, to increase occupational health and safety and environmental awareness through continuous training, communication and action approach, to comply with and enforce the OHS and environmental legislation in all applicable laws, regulations and procedures, to create a healthy and safe workplace,
To determine the environmental dimensions of our activities, situations that may cause occupational accidents and occupational diseases, emergencies, accident risks and to research technologies to minimise them, to take protective measures, to take all kinds of measures related to OHS by using all technological means for this, to provide the necessary tools and personal protective equipment,
* To ensure that our employees act with this awareness by receiving OHS trainings, to continuously improve our OHS management system according to new developments and to adapt it to our company, to communicate with relevant persons, institutions and organisations for this purpose, to prepare emergency action plans in the workplace and to ensure that all our employees act with this awareness,
* To carry out all our activities without harming the environmentally friendly nature, to protect the environment, human and all living things, to reduce the consumption of natural resources, to reduce energy consumption, to reduce our wastes at source by establishing a waste management system, to ensure that they are transformed or disposed of in accordance with the environment, to aim to continuously improve our environmental performance,
* To comply with the environmental legislation in our country and our company environmental policies, to provide environmental awareness training to all our employees, to carry out environmental risk assessment studies
